20 Spring Cleaning Tips

It’s great feeling to come back to a clean home. Spring cleaning is time consuming and many people would be avoiding it but by following these tips we hope to make it easier for you. Search online for cleaning products that will remove grime without damaging the surface of your kitchen cupboards. Don’t forget to clean on top of kitchen cupboards as this is where most of the dust will accumulate

  1. Stainless steel Cooker hood 

Stainless steel are notoriously known difficult to clean surfaces. There are some products on the market you can use, but some people use some products that can be made from home and applied immediately. Mix a drop of dish soap with a cloth dipped in hot water and rub the surface. Then rinse with water and dry cloth.

  1. Kitchen Bin

The kitchen bin is another neglected item in your kitchen. Quite often the bin bags leak and the dirt goes into the bin. You need to wash with soapy water the bin regularly to prevent any bacteria formation.

  1. Shower Curtain

Did you know that you can wash your plastic curtain in your washing machine. Don’t put it by itself and add some towels along with detergent. After washing has completed hang it to dry properly.

Freshen up your drains by mixing baking soda with table salt. Pour the mixture with heated vinegar. Leave it for at least 15min and then run hot tap water. This is only to freshen up your drain not to unblock it.

You will be surprised to find out how much dust had accumulated behind your furniture. Pull you sofa and vacuum behind and under it. Do the same with your bed, wardrobe and other heavy furniture that you haven’t moved for some time.

Curtains absorb a lot of dust and should be cleaned on regular basis. If you want to do it yourself if washable put the curtains in the washing machine and after dry them and iron them. In order to have fresh bedroom and lounge curtains should be cleaned regularly.
